Phosphorelay

The phosphorelay is a conplex variation of a two-component regulatory system. It includes phosphotransferases that transfer the phosphoryl group from the sensor kinases to the ultimate target. The sporulation initiation phosphorelay is the paradigm of this class of signal transduction systems.
