The plasmid confers resistance to ampicillin and kanamycin in ''E. coli'' and ''B. subtilis'', respectively. To transform ''B. subtilis'', the plasmid has to be linearized with ScaI. Just like pGP380 it can be used for the [[SPINE]] method.
